Event planning may sound easy for some. It is not. It goes like this, planning an event without pressure is way easier than planning an event with a lot of pressure. You will never want to fail what you have planned for months, you would always want everything to be perfect and of course at its best. So how are you going to do that?

  1. If you are just starting your event planning business and career,  make sure to attend trainings and short courses about handling events. It is like the warpath jumper guide that lets you know that you already have values even before playing as a beginner. Education is definitely the key to success. Adequate and initial knowledge will go a long way.
  2. Know time management. Though it can already be part of your everyday life, managing time if you already have events, from planning to post-event, is never an easy thing. You cannot procrastinate and tell yourself that you will accomplish everything in just a day. It is most of the time impossible, except if all the circumstances will not go against you.
  3. Be keen to details. It is very important for an event planner to be sharp all the time especially when talking to their clients, preparation, and during the event. Being keen shows active listening and being observant. This will prevent big mistakes and failures.
  4. Be creative. Yes, your client will be the one to decide on whatever is going to happen to the event, but do not be afraid to make some suggestions especially if you already know that some part of your client’s preferences will not work smoothly.
  5. Be positive, think positive. This might already be a cliche on everything, however, you need to keep in mind that being optimistic attracts positive auras. Good vibes will always affect everything you do and the people you will be interacting with. Positive attitude is contagious and to have and be able to conduct the best event, you need to be positive no matter what happens.
