My favorite part of Thanksgiving (besides the company and you know, being thankful) is the snacking – ok that is my favorite part of any holiday. This year we are cooking and I’m about to let you in on a few of the treats we may just have. Don’t worry, they won’t all be sweets, we’ll throw a few veggies in there for you weirdos!
Honeycrisp Apple Sangria
Personal Apple Pies
Champagne w/ Cranberries
Chai Pumpkin Spice Thumbprints
Pass the Sushi
Halloween is around the corner and you may be having a party, going to a party or sending something to a party with your spouse or little one. One way or another, you are probably in need of a Halloween treat coming up. I love to bake, but I’m not chef, plus I have very little time on my hands. So I need things that look great, but require little skill and patience on my part. These look fun and easy.

Taste of Home
Somehow it is almost July! I’m not sure where the time has gone, last thing I knew it was still winter. But now that summer is here there is nothing I love more than a good old fashion bbq with kids in their festive outfits, sparklers and most importantly, yummy treats. These are a few I want to try this year.

I will admit, that I’m no fan of dying food. Like at Valentine’s Day when they make the Oreos pink in the middle or everything is red and green at Christmas. I’m just a traditionalist when it comes to my sweets I guess, I have no desire for green food (died or otherwise to be honest). However, for those of you who are not opposed to using a little food coloring, there sure are some cute St. Patrick Day treats out there that I can’t say I wouldn’t eat if they were offered to me!
Lucky Dessert Table
St. Patrick Day’s Marshmellows

Chocolate Covered Shamrock Pretzels
Green Velvet Cake Pops (p.s. how cute is this blog, Love From the Over?!)
Love From The Oven
Homemade Shamrock Pretzels
It's the Little Things In Life
Lucky Charms Cupcakes (such a cute idea!)
My Own Ideas
Every year on Christmas Eve my mom and I bake, it has been a tradition for as long as I can remember. We have a few staples we always make – sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies, homemade tagalongs and cheesecake and then we usually try something new. This year I don’t get to go home for this first time ever in my entire life (yes I’m still trying to deal with this) but I am still going to bake. These are a few of the possible new things I might want to attempt.
Salted Carmel Cookie Cups – omg, yes please!
Pretzel Wreaths – how cute are these?!
Noel Spritzer – ok, this isn’t baking but still, sounds good!
Red Velvet Cheesecake – no way it can compete with my mom’s but still, worth trying!
What are you baking for the holidays?
I love Thanksgiving. It is such a low pressure holiday. Get together, have some yummy food, watch the parade, some football and just be together. What is not to love about such a day? If you are having family or friends over, here are some super adorable Thanksgiving treats you can make.
