Snack Attack

Weddings go late these days and can start early. By the time the party ends you’ve had these guests with you for 6 hours at least. So it isn’t unusual to feed them a late night snack before they hit the road. Used to be hotels might order a pizza, but things have gotten a lot more sophisticated. From local fare to food trucks (which is a whole different post) couples are making sure their guests are taken care of.

How to Survive the Super Bowl

So I don’t know about football, I don’t care about football. Anything I glean about sports at all is from facebook or because my best friends and brother-in-law happen to care about it. However, I can get behind the Super Bowl, no not because I live in DC and the Ravens are in it (I think, they are right?). But because it is a party, with fun comfort food snacks and I can always get behind a party! I can ignore the football, hang out with my friends, watch commercials and eat junk food and call me happy, what there is sports on tv? So here is what I propose making in order to survive this sports centered weekend my friends.

Soft Pretzels (bonus only 100 calories!)

My Recipes

Football bites

gimme some over

Fried pizza sandwiches

Diethood

Cinnasticks Copycat

Jam Hands

Beer candied bacon
