It is such a delightful surprise to look up and see a kite flying in the sky. They are so lovely and graceful and bring such joy. What is there not to love about kites? That is why I love love love the idea of a kite themed party! Just so whimsical and pretty!
Let’s Go Fly a Kite
In a Minty Mood
I find myself very drawn to mint lately and I don’t even love mint (except Junior Mints, those I do love!). But regardless, it is just so fresh and clean and airy, you just can’t help but be drawn to it this time of year.

Celebrating Easter
I love Easter. It is so pretty. It means the coming of spring. It is an easy, relatively low key holiday. If you are throwing an Easter celebration at your home or you just plan to bring the Easter spirit into your home, then these are some lovely and easy ways to do so. I love them!
Totally Toile
Toile is not for everyone. My mother, for example would tell me it is too old for me (as if anything is too old for me these days! I wish!). However, I love it. I think it is so vintagy (yes I think that is a word) looking and classic and romantic. And who knew you can put it on anything, including cake!
My Umbrella ella
I’m no fan of rain and certain spend plenty of time assuring clients that it will not rain on their wedding day. However, I am a fan of turning a rainy situation upside down, on an umbrella or shoot, not even a rainy situation or even the rainy season. Just take some umbrellas and turn them into decor. Because while I may not be a fan of the rain and do love me an umbrella! They are so pretty! So I say use them where you can, they are certainly more affordable than flowers!

Pomegranate Crazy
I am crazy for pomegranates! I know, it is the trendy fruit (how is fruit trendy, that is so weird). Anyway, I love the color, I love the seeds, I love the taste, I love the looks of them! I want pomegranate everything. Including your event inspiration. They are so pretty and so yummy and it is pomegranate season so why not? Use them as your color choice, your decor, your theme, your signature cocktail, go while. You can never have too much pomegranate as far as I’m concerned!

Get Corny
I am seeing acorns pop up everywhere this fall and I think it is adorable. Who knew acorns were so stinking cute? Well apparently you all did and you are using them everywhere to your advantage and I’m loving it. They lend such an earthy, fall, vibe to the event. I love this trend.
In Love with White Pumpkins
Happy Halloween! I hope everyone survived Frankenstorm without too much damage and can trick or treat tonight. In the meantime I am crushing on the holiday decor of white pumpkins. I wish I had one on my doorstep right now! They are so pretty and you can do so much with them! Stencil on them, pain them, cover them, leave them blank, they make for beautiful centerpieces or decor for any event during this season.
