And by them, I mean the planner!
Wedding cake is by far the favorite part of my job. The tastings, the day of, I could exist on wedding cake! I fear I will go into wedding cake withdrawal during the down season! Now fondant is not my favorite, I usually advise anyone to skip the fancy decorations and go with a yummier butter cream, but some of these cakes are so darn cute I couldn’t resist them, fondant and all!

There are so many creative uses for pumpkins at your event! You can carve them, paint them, put candles in them, put beer in them, use the tiny ones, the huge ones. There are so many options and they all look amazing! The colors are perfect for this time of year and you can use them as fall decor without at all looking too halloween-ish. I say the more pumpkins the better!

Fall weddings are finally upon us, when we move away from the pink and frills and start to see more earth and jewel tones and a less delicate decor. I love them both equally, but this year I am really excited to see the start of fall and have a change.

Sonia and Neil were married during the intense heat wave of July. This low key couple kept their cool even during their outdoor ceremony in 100+ degree weather. Their ceremony and reception both involved elements of their Indian and Jamaican heritages. They took important aspects from Sonia’s Indian culture and implemented them in the ceremony and Neil’s Jamaican roots were implemented during the reception with Jamaican music and Jamaican rum cakes as favors.
This super fun couple had custom made Converse in their wedding colors that said Let Luv Rule and Sonia changed into them and a short wedding dress in order to more comfortably rock the night away. They enjoyed every minute of their day! Congrats Sonia & Neil!

Because it is hands down the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life! My 2 year old niece dancing with the 4 year old ring bearer in her first wedding as a flower girl this past weekend.

Halloween is almost here! While I always have to work when everyone is going out, it has always been one of my favorite holidays. There are not many times when children and adults alike give into the simple joy of dressing up and being silly. It makes me happy. Here are some scary sweets and treats to make for your halloween parties!
