Who doesn’t love Etsy? I do not know anyone who isn’t in love with the site. So I’ve decided to share my favorite Etsy find each week (well that is the plan, we’ll see how it goes)
This week is this adorable ring bearer pillow from Freshline. I am not normally a fan of your standard satin ring pillow (what do you do with it afterwards?). But this one is so cute you could sit it out. Adorable and personal, I love it.

Well it hasn’t felt too much like fall lately around here, but I think it is coming at least for a minute, this weekend. Fall offers such a great color palate for flowers and decor. Many people think of the springy, pastel flowers when they think weddings, but there is so much more!

This past weekend I went home to MI for my niece’s 2nd birthday and my mom and sister threw me the most beautiful baby shower while we were there. They claimed it was a lot of pressure planning a party for a planner, but they did such an amazing job, I would hire them both! Their attention to detail extended right down to the soap in the bathroom, which was bee shaped to match the adorable theme! I had to share their great work!
How cute are the little beehive salt and pepper shakers!

And the beehive candy dishes! LOVE!

Thank goodness I had to leave this cake in MI or I would have eaten the entire thing by myself it was so good!
The water and wine said “b is for baby” and the lemonade was even in a beehive (not shown)

They even got my husband to wear yellow to match the theme!

Thanks Momma and Sis for such a beautiful party! xoxo

Maybe because it is officially fall or because I’m heading off to MI for the weekend, one way or the other I cannot stop thinking about apples. Every October we went to the apple festival and picked them and ate donuts and apple cider. While I would still love to go to the apple festival, nowadays I’m thinking about apples in terms of decor. The yellows and reds and greens are such perfect fall colors. You can use them as centerpieces, escort cards, table numbers, or candy apples to eat! I’m so excited about the candy apples we will have at a client’s wedding next month. The Michigander in me can’t get enough.

Using garland for your decor is so fun because there are so many different kinds – paper, flower, really anything can be turned into garland. And there are so many different uses for it as well – backdrop, hung from the ceiling, draped on the back of a chair, anywhere. Garland can make anything look more fun.

This has got to be one of my favorite weddings I did this year! Becky and Lee are just the loveliest couple, their venue was amazing and my favorite photographer shot the big day, which all adds up to a perfect day! Congratulations Becky & Lee!

Even if you can’t read it, there is something beautiful about the looks of sheet music and it’s uses are unlimited. I love the idea of using sheet music in ones decor. It is popping up everywhere. I used it this summer for a couple who were both musicians. But you don’t need to be a musician in order to appreciate how cool sheets of music can look accenting your decor.
