I have a very similar shoe to this on my march madness inspiration board, but without the green. I found this one later. I think the green adds an extra punch I adore!

Events by Sarah Elizabeth has created the first annual Wedding Inspiration March Madness. 16 Wedding professionals and bloggers have all created an inspiration board and been placed in a bracket in which we will compete for a place in the next round, a la the NCAA tournament (but much more fun in my opinion)! In the first round competitors were allowed to create boards based upon whatever they wanted. All of the boards are posted on Events by Sarah Elizabeth’s facebook page. To vote you “like” the board you like best or leave a comment on that board (you will have to “like” Events by Sarah Elizabeth first if you don’t already). Voting in the first round closes Wednesday at 5pm. Events to a T is competing! In the first round I am matched up against Emmaline Bride. Please log on and “like” my black and white striped inspiration board!
The other competitors besides Events to a T include: The Oceanside Bride, Crossed Keys Inn, Lemon and Lavender, Wedding Pickle, Two Wedding Belles. No So Witty Witterings, Offbeat Etsy Weddings, Best Wedding Sites, Southern Aisle, WedAlert, Glamour and Grace, Blissful Fete, Spun Sugar Suite, Emmaline Bride, bwed exclusive
Handmade for Help is a new Etsy store made up of many Etsy sellers coming together in an attempt to help those in Japan. All of the items in the shop have been donated from other shops and all of the proceeds go directly to the Red Cross. Events to a T has donated an item along with some of these other fantastic sellers. Take a look and consider purchasing something and helping Japan survivors in return. These are some of my favorites.

Friday, March 18th this blog will be silent in honor of the lives lost in Japan recently. If you would like to help, please go to www.forjapanwithlove.com and help us raise funds for Shelter Box USA. ShelterBox provide emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters at the time when they need it the most. Each large green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items. A whole box costs $1,000 (US).
It is going to be impossible to get into the bars tonight, or even this morning in some cities! And some of us area always looking for an excuse to throw a little get together anyway. So here are some great recipes if you are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at home tonight. Now I’m not fond of corned beef and hash type of recipes, so don’t look here for that, but if non-traditional Irish-ish party food is for you then I’m your girl.
Double Fudge Irish Creme Cookies:
Beer Cheese in a Bread Bowl: Oh my gosh I want to make this now! Also check out this entire list of beer recipes, they all sound awesome!
Have a safe and fabulous St. Patrick’s Day!
I mean that in so many ways right about now! Of course go green for the environment, make your events as green as possible. Go green for the luck O’ the Irish! And go green for Michigan State in the NCAA tournament (no, I’m not a sports fan except for about one week once a year)

We have all become familiar with the devastating stories and images coming out of Japan. I find it difficult to read them without crying and feeling helpless. Luckily Utterly Engaged and Ever Ours have launched For Japan With Love as a way for our industry (and anyone else who wants to help) to come together to help the survivors of this tragedy in what little way we can.
How You Can Help: It is cold in Japan right now and the survivors are in dire need of shelter, which is why For Japan With Love has teamed up with ShelterBox through which to donate. ShelterBox provide emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters at the time when they need it the most. Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.
Take a Stand: If you are a blogger, please join us in a Day of Silence on Friday, March 18th. My blog and all of those participating, will have no posts on Friday in memory of the victims in Japan. If you are interested in being a part of this Day of Silence please contact info@utterlyengaged.com or lydia@ever-ours.com.
Any small amount you can give or way you can participate is so much appreciated. Thank you for any way you can help!
